Congressman Jim Moran Town Hall Meeting in Reston

Howard Dean to Join Rep. Moran Town Hall on Health Care Reform Efforts This event is for residents of Virginia's 8th District only. (Selectively enforced, auditorium stacked with Union supporters.)

South Lakes High School, Auditorium Reston, Virginia
What: Town Hall meeting hosted by Rep. Jim Moran featuring Governor Howard Dean, M.D., former Governor of Vermont, Democratic National Committee Chair Emeritus, author, and national grassroots leader on health care. The meeting will discuss current efforts in Congress to reform our nation's health care system.

Many of the original groups behind TaxDayTeaParty.com are joining together for the Nationwide Recess Rally. This was a collaborative effort to make it known that we will not stand for socialized, government controlled healthcare.

July 4th 2009. Independence Day Tea Party 12:00PM until 4:30PM at the Conservative Soireé at Bull Run Regional Park in conjunction with the Leadership Institute. (Nominal parking fee for the park, Free roast pork and turkey , live music, notables and fun for the whole family) Northern Virginia Tea Party.com is a co-sponsor with the help of a coalition of No Va taxpayer groups.

Merrifield Post Office Protest Against Wasteful Stimulus Spending and Bailouts
April 15, 2009
. 4:30 pm to 6:00 pm 200 Tea Party Partiots braved the severe pouring rain at Tax Day Tea Party at the Merrifield Post Office where thousands of Virginians dropped off their last minute income tax returns and checks to the IRS. Join the Northern Virginia Tea Party Facebook Group.

Dear Patriots,

Our mission is to restore limited, accountable government, and reassert our individual rights as envisioned by our founding fathers.

To this end we created Northern Virginia Tea Party, an organization born at the grassroot level and meant to grow at the grassroots level through the ever increasing ACTIVE participation of its members. 

Start reclaiming your rights by:

1) Participating in Northern Virginia Tea Party events and initiatives, such as rallies, town hall meetings and testifying at public hearings.

2) Proposing and actualizing your Projects/initiatives consistent with the mission. We look forward to hearing and helping you accomplishing your ideas. 

3) Working on permanent Northern Virginia Tea Party committees.

In particular we are looking for volunteers in the areas of:
                    Legal/financial
                    Marketing/PR/Press Relations
                    Web/technology
                    Writing/blogging
                    Issue and candidate Research

4) Leading ad hoc committees for specific high impact events/projects.

 The result of these activites will be that we will build a premanent coservative social network of friends brought together by the same core values of limited Government to cement this movement into the people’s lasting counter culture revolution.
