Many of the original groups behind TaxDayTeaParty.com are joining together for the Nationwide Recess Rally. This was a collaborative effort to make it known that we will not stand for socialized, government controlled healthcare.
July 4th 2009. Independence Day Tea Party 12:00PM until 4:30PM at the Conservative Soireé at Bull Run Regional Park in conjunction with the Leadership Institute.
(Nominal parking fee for the park, Free roast pork and turkey , live
music, notables and fun for the whole family) Northern
Virginia Tea Party.com is a co-sponsor with the help of a coalition of
No Va taxpayer groups.

Merrifield Post Office Protest Against Wasteful Stimulus Spending and Bailouts
April 15, 2009. 4:30 pm to 6:00 pm 200 Tea Party Partiots braved the severe pouring rain at Tax Day Tea Party at the Merrifield Post Office where thousands of Virginians dropped off their last minute income tax returns and checks to the IRS. Join the Northern Virginia Tea Party Facebook Group.

to traffic considerations). We
will meet outside the Senate office buildings at the intersection of Constitution Avenue
NE and 1st St. NE
We are taking our voices directly to the Senators’ offices. We will visit the Senators
in groups 20-30. We’ll stage a mock waiting room and request a
meeting with the Senators.
